JERUSALEM — Israeli opposition leader Yair Golan criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu"s coalition on Sunday, labeling it a "zero government" and accusing it of leading the country into an "endless war." His remarks followed a ballistic missile attack from Yemen that landed near Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv early Sunday, injuring at least nine people. In a statement on X, Golan, who heads the Labor Party, urged Israelis to stage daily protests against the government, stating, "Only continuous popular pressure will bring down this government." He described the missile attack as a stark reminder of the government"s failures, adding that instead of resolving conflicts, it is dragging the country into prolonged warfare and internal strife. The Yesh Atid Party, led by opposition leader Yair Lapid, also called for the resignation of the Netanyahu government, terming it a "government of national disasters." According to Haaretz, debris from interceptor missiles fell on a train station near Modi"in in central Israel, causing damage, while a fire broke out in Kfar Daniel due to additional debris. — Agencies
