The signing took place on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, attended by Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, General Supervisor of KSrelief, and Achim Steiner, Director General of UNDP. The project includes the construction and installation of solar energy systems for 10 new water stations (groundwater wells), expansion of distribution points at a slow sand-filtered water station, rehabilitation of 44 water stations, and the establishment of 54 water user associations. Additionally, the project will distribute water collection and storage containers to vulnerable families, provide water treatment tablets, repair waste collection equipment, and supply hygiene materials to schools and communities.
