In a statement, ministry Sufian Al-Qudah said Israel’s ongoing violations against Palestinians and its breaches of international law and international humanitarian law reflected a global failure to strictly enforce legal standards. He said what he described as “persistent impunity and lack of effective accountability” encouraged Israel to continue with its violations. He called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take immediate and effective action amid Israel’s systematic policy of committing “war crimes and genocide” against the Palestinian people.
