Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense met with French President Emmanuel Macron immediately upon his arrival in Riyadh late Thursday on a visit to the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency reported. During the meeting, they reviewed Saudi-French relations, the strategic partnership between the two countries and discussed opportunities to further develop bilateral cooperation in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, SPA said. They also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the efforts being exerted for the security and stability of the region, including joint coordination in the fight against terrorism, the agency said. Macron condemned a ballistic missile launched by Houthi insurgents in Yemen on Saudi Arabia, stressing Frances solidarity with the Kingdom, SPA added. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir and a number of officials.
