Saudi Arabia announced Friday the arrest of two wanted individuals, who were identified as Mohammed Saeed Salman al-Abdulaal and Mustapha Ali Saleh al-Sbeiti, in the eastern town of Tarout in Qatif Governorate. Security Spokesman at the Ministry of Interior Maj. Gen. Mansour al-Turki said in a statement that the security record of the wanted men is in the possession of State Security, hinting the arrests came following orders made by the leadership of State Security. But the spokesman did not disclose their criminal record or the most prominent terrorist acts they have perpetrated. Saudi security forces have been hunting a number of wanted individuals since they took control over al-Masoura neighborhood in Awamiya in August. Abdulaal and Sbeiti were taken to hospital for the treatment of injuries sustained during a shootout after they resisted the arrest, Turki said. In this context, Qatif witnessed on Monday a terrorist attack that led to the death of a security officer in the area of al-Bahari, east of Saudi Arabia. The attack took place while the officer was on duty. He was shot to death by a number of terrorists while he stopped at a traffic light.
