Saudi King Salman Meets with French FM

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Thursday French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, the Saudi Press Agency reported. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and France and the situation in the region, SPA said. The audience was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Minister of State and Cabinets Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and French Ambassador to the Kingdom Francois Gouyette, the agency added. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has also met with Le Drian. During the meeting, they reviewed the prospects of Saudi-French cooperation in various fields, as well as discussing the developments in the Middle East and coordinating efforts to enhance security and stability in the region, SPA said. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Interior, and other ministers and senior officials, the agency added.
