The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry, the Saudi Press Agency reported. At the outset of the reception, the Secretary conveyed to the King and the Crown Prince the greetings of President Donald Trump, while the King expressed his greetings to the President, SPA said. During the talks, they reviewed relations of friendship, prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, the agency said. The audience was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Minister of State, Cabinet Member and Chief of Royal Court Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Issa; Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and a number of US officials. On Sunday, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense met in Riyadh with Perry, SPA said. During the meeting, they discussed the strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields, especially in energy, environment, industry and joint investments between the two countries, especially in the petrochemical, infrastructure and energy sectors, the agency said. According to SPA, the Crown Prince affirmed the kingdoms keenness to stabilize energy markets and supply them in a sustainable manner to serve the interests of energy producers and consumers. The meeting was attended by Falih and a number of officials from the US Department of Energy.
