Two days after liberating the strategic Yemeni town of al-Khokha, Saudi-led Ara coalition forces advanced further towards the west coast of the country, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Saturday. The Coalition, Yemen National Army and legitimate government of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi People’s Resistance continued to make advances on the ground, heading to the West coast of Yemen towards Hodeidah, said UAE’s official news agency WAM according to SPA. The liberation of al-Khokha will help in cutting supply lines to the Iran-backed Houthi militia and eventually pave the way for the recapture of Hodeidah. In turn, the capture of the port city will mark a major step towards liberating the West coast of Yemen.
