The Yemeni army made advances in its battle against the Iranian-backed Houthi militias in the Shabwa province, reported the SABA news agency. A military source said that the army liberated eight regions in the Asailan directorate. Backed by Coalition jets, it also captured the Sabaan mountain on the outskirts of the city of al-Naqoub, a militia stronghold. The source revealed that 12 militants were detained by the military. Furthermore, it spoke of a drop in morale among the militias as the military advanced on the city of al-Alia.
