KSRelief Center Signs Projects to Treat Injured Yemenis

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed, on Thursday in Riyadh, health project contracts to treat injured Yemenis inside and outside Yemen. The contracts were signed by Assistant Supervisor General of the center for Logistics and Programs Ahmed al-Baiz. Dr. Abdullah al-Moallem, Consultant to KSreliefs Program and Operations Department, pointed out that a number of health executive projects were signed to treat injured Yemenis inside and outside Yemen, in partnership with Bureihi Hospital, Al Qadi Specialty Hospital and Skop Foundation Monitoring Evaluation and Social Development. Through these programs, medical care is provided to injured Yemenis, 150 patients for every hospital inside Yemen and 50 patients outside Yemen so that the total contracting number reaches 350, he added. Up to 3,973 were previously treated in the private sector hospitals. Moallem stressed the center’s keenness to include in its health programs all the Yemeni governorates and all fields, in partnership with local and international partners. The total number of executed programs in Yemen reached $822m, covering all Yemeni governorates with no exceptions. Further, KSrelief completed the distribution of food aid to the Directorate of Al-Maafer in Taiz province amounting to 8000 food baskets. This assistance comes within the framework of the support provided by the Center for all governorates of Yemen to alleviate the sufferings of the people. Ksrelief also distributed 17,500 food baskets in several districts in Hajjah Governorate in Yemen including displacement camps in Midi and Harad. The aid comes as an extension of relief and humanitarian projects offered by the center in Yemen, which amounted to 175 projects in all governorates.
