King Salman Inaugurates Janadriyah 32 on Wednesday

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz will patronize on Wednesday the opening ceremony of National Festival of Culture and Heritage “Al-Janadriyah 32” organized annually by the Ministry of National Guard in al-Janadriyah city. The King will also attend the Annual Grand Camel Race, crown the winners of the race with prizes, and attend speech and art ceremony in Janadriyahs gallery including the operetta entitled "Imams and Kings" based on the vision and poems of Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz. Minister of National Guard and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Festival, Prince Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz bin Ayaf, thanked the Custodian for this generous care reiterating that it is a source of pride to all employees of the Ministry and the festivals. King Salman previously ordered the extension of the festivals period to three weeks which Prince Ayaf believed reflects the Kings faith in the festival and its employees, whether from the Ministry and various public and private sectors. This year the festival gates will open from 11.00 a.m. till 11.00 p.m. to allow the maximum number of people visiting the festival. Ayaf thanked the Custodian for his patronage of this national event, and also lauded Crown Prince Mohammed, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, for the great support he offers to heritage and culture. The Minister of the National Guard welcomed the guests of the festival and the participation of this years guest state, the Republic of India, as one of the additions to the National Festival which is an extension of the festivals annual tradition.
