Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr said that he left Aden to Riyadh at the request of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to discuss the countrys latest developments on security, political and economic conditions. State-owned news agency "Saba" Bin Daghr was to report to President Hadi about the governments underway efforts aiming to re-establish security and reinstate basic services in the interim capital Aden and other provinces under the government control. This is the first time Ben Daghr has left Aden after situations stabilized in the city following bloody clashes late last month between pro-government forces and factions loyal to the so-called "Southern Transitional Council" led by former Aden governor Idriss al-Zubaidi. Over the last two weeks, the legitimate government resumed its normal functions of normalizing the security situation and dealing with the effects of the clashes, in addition to its efforts to provide services and pay the salaries of government employees. The decisive intervention of the Arab coalition led to the cessation of the armed conflict where more than 300 were killed and injured. The Yemeni Prime Minister praised the aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Coalition within the framework of the relief plan and the great efforts exerted by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He said that such aid sent "has contributed significantly to alleviate the suffering of our people in all governorates of the republic, including under those control of the Houthi militia." Bin Daghr will meet in Riyadh a number of ambassadors of sisterly and friendly countries, according to Saba.
