King Salman Discusses Bilateral Relations with Congo’s President

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz held official talks at al-Yamamah Palace on Sunday with Congos President Denis Sassou Nguesso. King Salman and the Congolese president discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation and relations in various fields. The session was attended by Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Cabinets Member and Chief of Royal Court Khalid al-Issa, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani, and Saudi Ambassador to Gabon Adnan al-Mandil. Earlier that day, King Salman received Nguesso at al-Yamamah palace in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Bandar and an official reception ceremony was held in honor of the president. The national anthems of the two countries were played. Then, a reception was held in honor of the president who met and shook hands with the princes, ministers, and military commanders. Then, the Custodian held a luncheon in honor of his guest, attended by a number of princes and senior officials. The President of Congo arrived in Riyadh on Saturday and was received by Prince Faisal, the Governor of Riyadh, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet Essam bin Saeed, and a number of senior officials.
