According to government officials, who spoke on the sidelines of the Humanization Program Conference, held at the University of Taibah in Madinah, Saudi Arabia is working today to unify the roles of government agencies and identify tasks and powers to raise the efficiency of spending, stop wasting funds and implement programs and projects properly. Ghada al-Subaie, adviser to the minister of economy and planning, said that one of the most important principles that must be worked on to humanize the cities is governance, which means clearly defining tasks, roles and responsibilities and financial and administrative powers.
