Pakistan now has official confirmation of the death of the notorious TTP leader in Afghanistan LAHORE: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani called Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday and shared the news of Mullah Fazlullah’s killing in a drone strike in Afghanistan’s Kunar province, according to a handout circulated by the military’s public relations wing. The military’s public relations department also noted that the country’s security forces had “always maintained that a cooperative and coordinated approach is the best response to the menace of terrorism.” With President Ghani’s call on Friday, Pakistan now has official confirmation of the death of the notorious TTP leader in Afghanistan.
