The Yemeni army announced on Sunday that its forces have captured Houthi leader, Waddah Ahmed Hussein Dahman, in the Hajjah region as they were advancing in the valley of Hiran, north of the governorate, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The Houthi captive is the director of the office of prominent Houthi leader Ahmed Al-Madoumi, who is responsible of Kahlan Afar in Hajjah, said a statement from the fifth military region. Separately, the army regained military vehicles and large quantities of different types of weapons in battles against the Houthis on the Midi Hiran front. The Yemeni National Army, backed by the Saudi-led Arab coalition, is engaged in fierce battles with the Houthis in Midi Hiran, as the military continues its march on the coastal strip and deep in Hiran valley.
