Saudi Arabia Inaugurates 8 Projects in Yemen’s Al-Mahra

Eight projects were inaugurated in the Yemeni region of al-Mahra on Wednesday during a ceremony that was attended by President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi and Saudi Ambassador of to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, reported the Saudi Press Agency. The projects stem from the Saudi leadership’s ongoing support for Yemen in all fields. They cover vital sectors, including infrastructure, development and the economy. Hadi said that the Kingdom remains the primary backer of Yemen, saying that it realizes the extent of the dangers it is facing and it is today rebuilding the country. “Today, we are inaugurating a number of important development projects as part of reconstructions efforts that highlight the sincere spirit of fraternity” that bind Saudi Arabia and Yemen, he added. He expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for their generous support, sincere and historic positions that will not be forgotten by the Yemenis. Al-Jaber reiterated Saudi Arabias support to the legitimate Yemeni forces, completion of the reconstruction program and realization of Saudi programs in all Yemeni region. Al-Jaber, who is also Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Reconstruction in Yemen, underlined the Kingdom’s efforts to provide effective projects to the Yemeni people as part of ongoing efforts to restore their country’s stability and combat terrorism in all regions.
