Saudia Airlines sign codeshare agreement with Garuda Indonesia Airlines

JEDDAH: Saudia Airlines has signed a codeshare agreement with its partner in SkyTeam Airline Alliance, Garuda Indonesia Airlines to expand domestic destinations in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, as well as other countries. The agreement aims to expand the flights between both countries through direct sales on both carriers. The clients of both airlines will enjoy several privileges, such as reservations and ticketing, as well as flexible transfers of flights with one ticket. Passengers will also have the possibility to ship baggage to a final destination with the benefit of the rewards program and can collect miles to add to their membership. Saudia will also boost its presence in Indonesia at competitive prices, and will enable passengers traveling from the Kingdom to Indonesia to arrive in new cities in the country, such as Surabaya, Makassar and Medan, with ease, using one ticket via Garuda. The agreement will also include other destinations in east Asia, such as Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, and Bangkok in Thailand. Meanwhile passengers of Garuda will be able to reach destinations offered by Saudia domestically to Riyadh, Dammam, Al-Qasim, and Tabuk, as well as its international flights to Casablanca, Cairo, Istanbul, Madrid, Bahrain and other cities.
