Under the patronage of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the Saudi Camels Federation, represented by the Organizing Committee of the Crown Prince Camels Festival, will run on September 22, the games of the closing ceremony of the festival, at Al-Taif Governorate Square. Chairman of the General Sport Authority Turki Al-Sheikh said this falls within the Saudi leaderships care in various sectors in the country, reflecting the Kings interest in sports in particular. The total value of the awards of the festival is worth SR45 million, with a great host of local as well as foreign competitors expected to take part in the festival, which aims at revamping an authentic camels heritage and consolidating Saudi, Arabic and Islamic culture. The event will also maximize the returns to the advantage of the society, through organizing such diverse cultural, economic and sport jamboree, which cements participation, authenticates the heritage and disseminates patriotism values.
