HRH Crown Prince Patronizes the Closing Ceremony of the Second Camel Festival

Taif, Saudi Arabia, Sep.15, 2019, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, today patronized the closing ceremony of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Camel Festival in its second edition, which took place at the camel racing field in Taif, in the presence of princes, dignitaries and guests of the festival from the GCC countries. Upon arrival of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince at the camel field, he was received by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, President of the International Camel Federation, and Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Assistant President of the Saudi Camel Federation. He was accompanied by Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, and Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region. At the outset of the ceremony, the royal anthem was played and verses of the holy Quran recited. In a speech to mark the occasion, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their continuous and great support for the athletes of the Kingdom, citing their keenness to develop the sports sector in all its fields to enable the young men and women to serve their country in organizing the largest international sporting events.
