Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz concluded on Wednesday a visit to the Jawf province, departing for the Northern Border Region, reported the Saudi Press Agency. At Arar Airport, the King was received by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. He was also received by Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Governor Northern Borders Region, a number of princes, senior officials and a number of dignitaries and notables in the region. King Salman was welcomed by a number of citizens and then oversaw the inauguration of 65 development projects worth more than 10 billion riyals. He also issued a pardon for prisoners in the Jawf region who are held in rights law cases, said SPA. The pardon covers detained insolvent debtors who are not held on criminal charges, whose debts do not exceed one million riyals and whose insolvency is proven legally. The King also ordered the payment of their debts.
