Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) specialists held presentations in London on Friday about the Authoritys activities and facilities and opportunities for investors to do business in Saudi Arabia. SAGIA International Bureau Director Yarub Al-Dughaither spoke to more than 60 delegates from British, Arab and international companies about the positive changes currently taking place in Saudi Arabia on the trade and development levels. Al-Dughaither said that Saudi Arabia has witnessed remarkable development in several areas, particularly in the mining, manufacturing, energy, water and tourism sectors. A number of representatives of British companies noted the quality of the investment opportunities in several sectors, including real estate, tourism, financial services, infrastructure and healthcare. Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce Abdulsalam Al-Idrissi explained that one of the main tasks of the Chamber is to assist its members in export and trade operations and promote trade relations between Arab countries and the United Kingdom, pointing out that the Saudi market is attractive for investors.
