Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority Inks Cooperation Deal with World Economic Forum

The Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority signed in Riyadh on Friday a memorandum of intent with the World Economic Forum (WEF), reported the Saudi Press Agency. The agreement will focus on exploring opportunities for cooperation, in order to bolster cybersecurity, build cyberspace, identify potential cooperation opportunities in related projects and initiatives and to protect against cyber threats. The memo was co-signed by the Deputy Governor for Strategy and Planning Sector Dr. Ibrahim Al-Freih and Managing Director and Head of Compliance and Institutional Affairs, at WEF, Alois Zwinggi. WEF is an independent international organization committed to global development by involving business, politicians, academics and other community leaders, for formulation of global, regional and industrial agendas, and has been established as an institution since 1971, in Switzerland.
