The Board of Directors of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has strongly condemned the targeting of Abha International Airport with a projectile launched by Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias. It expressed solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing the attack as a blatant violation of international laws and an attack on the civil aviation infrastructure. Earlier this month, a Houthi missile hit Abha airport in a strike that wounded 26 people.
