United Arab Emirates State Minister for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash hailed on Saturday Saudi Arabia’s participation at the G20 summit that concluded in Osaka earlier in the day. “The remarkable Saudi presence and Riyadh’s rising role on the international scene favors the Arabs and the region,” he said on Twitter, “The new and renewed spirit witnessed in Saudi Arabia is promising,” he stated. “We see our prosperity in its prosperity and our stability in its stability,” he remarked. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, led the Kingdom’s delegation at the two-day summit. He held a series of meetings with global leaders, including US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, British Prime Minister Theresa May and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Saudi Arabia will assume the presidency of the G20 in December and Riyadh will host next year’s summit in November 2020.
