JEDDAH: The Arab coalition has destroyed another war drone launched by Houthi "terrorists" in Yemen toward Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported early Tuesday. Col. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the coalition, said in a statement that the latest drone originating from Sanaa  was bound for the southwestern city of Khamis Mushayt when it was intercepted. It was the fourth drone destroyed by coalition air defenses in a span of 24 hours. Just before dawn Monday, Al-Maliki said two drones were shot down, without specifying the targets. This was followed by a third drone Monday morning, targeting Al-Jawf in northern Saudi Arabia. It was intercepted while it was still in Yemen’s airspace, he said. No details of the latest drone attack was made available. Al-Maliki said the militia’s continued attacks would end in failure. On Sunday, Coalition forces also destroyed a drone and intercepted six ballistic missiles targeting Jazan in Saudi Arabias southern border with yYemen. The missiles, which were launched from Saada,  Al-Maliki said. Earlier in August, 10 drones were fired at the Shaybah natural gas liquefaction plant in Saudi Arabia, near the UAE border – the Houthis claim responsibility for the attack. There were no injuries and operations were not disrupted.
