RIYADH: Riyadh will host the seventh Middle East and North Africa Information Security Conference Sept. 9-10 under the title “Cyberspace, The New Frontier: Deception, Orchestration and Black Holes.” Samer Omar, CEO of VirtuPort, shed light on the importance of the continued focus on human capital in addition to investment in technology required by institutions to defend themselves from cyberthreats. He added that the use of modern tools to combat threats will enhance the capabilities of cyberattack specialists. Omar said that the upcoming conference will enhance its integrative role in order to maintain connectivity and networking among senior cybersecurity professionals in the region.
