The Saudi-led Arab coalition announced on Tuesday that two ballistic missiles fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen crashed shortly after they were fired. Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said the militias fired the rockets from Sanaa. They crashed in the Amran and Saada provinces. He accused the Houthis of launching the missiles from residential areas, adding to their record of violating international humanitarian law. He stressed that the coalition will continue to take firm and deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy the Houthis’ ballistic capabilities and protect the people of Yemen and regional and international security.
