Saudi Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah has affirmed the Kingdoms keenness to deliver humanitarian aid impartially across Yemen, despite all the difficulties caused by the violations committed by the Iran-backed Houthi militias. Al Rabeeah made his remarks in a seminar, attended by Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Italy, in the Italian capital Rome entitled "Saudi humanitarian efforts in Yemen, challenges and solutions" organized by KSrelief in coordination with the Saudi Embassy in Rome. He explained in a video presentation that total Saudi assistance to Yemen since May 2015 has reached $ 16 billion. He pointed out that the Kingdom has responded to the appeal of the World Health Organization and UNICEF with $66.7 million to combat the cholera outbreak in Yemen and supporting specific projects in Yemen such as the Saudi project to remove mines (MASAM). Al Rabeeah also pointed to Houthi obstructions to humanitarian work in Yemen, saying they have gone beyond all limits.
