Rome, October 24,2019, SPA -- Saudi Advisor to the Royal Court, Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, has affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to provide humanitarian aid with transparency and impartiality in all regions of Yemen, despite all challenges and difficulties facing this work represented in the violations of Houthi militias backed by Iran. This came in a symposium, attended by Prince Faisal bin Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Italy, yesterday in the Italian capital Rome entitled "Saudi humanitarian efforts in Yemen, challenges and solutions" organized by KSrelief in coordination with the Saudi Embassy in Rome. He explained during a video presentation that the total Saudi assistance to Yemen since May 2015 amounted to $ 16 billion. He pointed out that the Kingdom has responded to the appeal of the World Health Organization and UNICEF with $ 66.7 million to combat cholera outbreak in Yemen and supporting some specific important projects of the Center in Yemen such as the Saudi project to remove mines (MASAM).
