Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, has met in Riyadh with the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, Martin Griffiths, the Saudi Press Agency reported. During the meeting, Griffiths congratulated the Crown Prince on the success of the Kingdoms efforts in signing the Riyadh Agreement between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council, SPA said. The Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdoms keenness on all what may serve the interests of the Yemeni people and the security and stability of Yemen, hoping that the Agreement would usher in wider understandings among the Yemenis to reach a comprehensive political solution that would end the country’s crisis. The meeting also discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the efforts being exerted towards them, SPA added. It was attended by Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense; Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Chief of General Intelligence, Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan and the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber.
