Prince Faisal bin Turki was Al-Nassr Football Club president for nine years until 2018 and vice president of the club during 2008 and 2009. Under his leadership, the club won the Saudi Crown Prince Cup in 2014 and the Saudi League in 2014 and 2015. Prince Faisal also served as special adviser to former ambassador to the US Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz.  He holds an MA in international politics from Johns Hopkins University, Maryland, and a BA in business management.  Recently, Prince Faisal met Al-Nassr players after a training session at the club’s stadium and urged them to focus on Saturday’s Saudi Super Cup against Al-Taawoun at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. Al-Nassr FC provided a private jet to fly the team to Jeddah after Friday prayers as a prelude to their final training session in the Super Cup venue.  Team coach Rui Vitoria told a media conference that he is prepared to play Brazilian Maicon Pereira and Naif Almas on defense following injuries to Omar Hawsawi and Abdullah Madu.
