Khalil Al-Nammari has been the director of the strategic planning department at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund since January 2018. Al-Nammari graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance and minors in economics and engineering entrepreneurship from Pennsylvania State University in 2004. In 2008, he began his career with Saudi Aramco as a credit analyst with its treasury department. He set up the Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Center in 2010. In 2013, he achieved a master’s degree in business administration from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. In the same year, he joined Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures (SAEV) as an investment associate and worked in SAEV’s offices in Scotland.  In 2016, Al-Nammari joined Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Economy and Planning as a consultant, where he was later promoted to managing consultant. His work included setting up Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and he was involved with Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020. Al-Nammari was a member of Saudi Aramco’s Young Leaders Advisory Board. Recently, he was an executive partner at the annual Qimam Fellowship Program in Riyadh and a speaker at the Jedarah Talent Acceleration Program in Dubai.
