The Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) signed in Riyadh a memorandum of understanding (MoU). Under the deal the two sides will coordinate to develop trade and investment cooperation relations between business sectors and companies in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. The memorandum was co-signed by Assistant Secretary General for International Affairs at CSC, Walid Al-Arainan and the Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa of HKTDC, Daniel Lam. It also allows exchange of relevant commercial and investment information. Both sides will also work on promoting Saudi products in international markets, in addition to helping Saudi manufacturers and exporters communicate with targeted service providers in Hong Kong to support their business needs. The MoU seeks to enhance the fields of joint cooperation between the two councils by employing the capabilities of the two parties to enhance trade, investment and economic cooperation.
