Riyadh, March 04, 2020, SPA -- Saudi Health Council signed here yesterday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gulf Health Council for coordination and cooperation between the two sides in building research capabilities and approving the principles of sharing data for health researches. The Secretary General of the Saudi Health Council, Dr. Nahar Al-Azimi, confirmed that the agreement is important for determining the priorities of researches in health sector, and to benefit from projects and experiences of health economics sectors to improve the outcomes of health sector. He also said that the Saudi council is working on placing regulations for the cooperation between health agencies to implement national programs to promote health and health services in Saudi Arabia. For his part, the General Director of Gulf Health Council, Sulaiman Al-Dakheel, stated that the objectives of Saudi Health Council and Gulf Health Council are mainly built on cooperation and coordination between GCC Members to promote health practices through exchanging experiences. --SPA 14:10 LOCAL TIME 11:10 GMT 0013 www.spa.gov.sa/w1280721
