JEDDAH — Jeddah Municipality has roped in the GIS Center to ensure implementation of all health regulations issued by various authorities in housing facilities of workers as part of its efforts to combat the coronavirus outbreak, Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday. The GIS Center has developed an electronic program to locate housing facilities, which will enable Jeddah Municipality and concerned authorities to locate these housings using geographical maps in a short period of time and carry out inspection tours of these locations. It is worth noting that Jeddah Municipality in cooperation with concerned authorities carried out inspection tours of housing facilities around the governorate to explain preventive measures in different languages and to ensure that health regulations are applied. — SG
