First flight with citizens from Vienna arrives in Qassim airport

BURAIDAH — Saudi Arabia on Friday repatriated citizens back to the Kingdom from the Austrian capital, Vienna with the first allotted flight arriving at the Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Qassim, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. The repatriation flights have been systematically arranged to implement the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, stressing their keenness on the health and safety of citizens abroad in light of the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic across the world. Upon arrival at the airport, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Health and General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) received the returnees. This flight carried all the citizens who wished to return from the (Austria, Slovak Republic, Republic of Slovenia, Czech Republic and Hungary). According to the precautionary and preventive measures being adopted by the concerned authorities to combat the Coronavirus epidemic, all returnees from overseas must have to observe and abide by the 14-day quarantine measure. — SPA
