HAIL — Saudi Arabia on Saturday repatriated citizens back to the Kingdom from the Spanish capital, Madrid with the first scheduled flight arriving at the Hail International Airport. Upon arrival at the airport via Saudi Arabian Airlines, the returnees were received by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Health, and General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). On board the flight, 156 passengers, stranded, sick, elderly and students arrived in Hail, and were transported by bus to Millennium Hotel, north of Hail. The repatriation flights have been systematically arranged to implement the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, stressing their keenness on the health and safety of citizens abroad in light of the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic across the world. According to the precautionary and preventive measures being adopted by the concerned authorities to combat the Coronavirus epidemic, all returnees from overseas must have to observe and abide by the 14-day quarantine measure. — SPA
