RIYADH: Saudi health authorities announced 40 deaths from COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the Kingdom’s death toll from the virus to 2,283. A total of 2,692 new cases were also announced, with 263 in Jeddah, 220 in Al-Hafouf, 211 in Riyadh and 189 in Al-Mobarraz among the highest, the health ministry said. The total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom has reached 237,803. According to the ministry, 7,718 patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 177,560.
