Saudi Press: Decrease in COVID-19 Infections and Increase in Recovery Cases in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Aug 28, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that in these days, the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia periodically announces a decrease in COVID-19 infections and an increase in recovery cases, as well as the numbers of people who have received vaccines. Such unprecedented steps are due to the sustained efforts being exerted by wise leadership since the announcement of the most serious pandemic in modern history, the paper said. On Sunday, we will witness the start of a new academic year in accordance with the precautionary and preventive measures announced by the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia, the paper added. This new start coincides with the procedures related to the return of residents coming from the countries which were temporary suspended of allowing entry to the Kingdom and have already taken two doses inside the Kingdom, the paper further added .
