RIYADH — Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University will launch next Sunday the admission portal to register for the one-week master’s program on women’s studies. This will be a qualitative intermediate program, first of its kind in the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday. The program focuses on qualifying enrolled women to be leaders capable of identifying and studying the challenges of women’s participation in economic and social development. It also proposes organizational and legislative solutions in addition to formulating initiatives that contribute to achieving the goal of increasing women’s participation in the labor market, as one of the goals of Vision 2030. The specially prepared program will be offered to an elite group of female faculty members who have diverse academic experiences. It aims to empower women to ensure their participation in the growth of the nation’s economy with their ideal participation. The program follows a special model in implementation as it is divided into two specialized tracks: the human resources and social studies. Under the program, there will be four options for graduation research: cooperative training, thesis, applied research, and a national initiative focusing on providing leadership with basic skills that contribute to achieving its goals.
