SR32 million health projects launched in Jeddah

JEDDAH — Governor of Jeddah Prince Mishal Bin Majed launched on Wednesday a number of health facilities and development projects worth over SR32 million. The projects are being carried out by the Ministry of Health in the Jeddah governorate. The function was held in the presence of Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, director of health affairs in Jeddah Dr. Mishal Al-Siyali, general supervisor of King Fahd Hospital and Aziziyah Children’s Hospital Dr. Muhammad Bajubair, and a number of senior health officials. Prince Mishal was briefed on the project of expanding the intensive care unit and equipping the operation and support rooms at Aziziyah Children’s Hospital. The governor and the minister inaugurated the emergency building at Al-Thaghr Hospital, and launched the new identity logo of Prince Fawaz and Bawadi Health Centers, in addition to the renovation of the building of the legal committees to provide the best preventive and treatment services for the people of Jeddah governorate. Prince Mishal also listened to a presentation on the health projects being implemented in the governorate, such as developing external facades of several health facilities, in addition to developing 14 health centers with a new facelift, total rehabilitation of some facilities, and raising the efficiency of the infrastructure facilities. — SG
