JEDDAH — A painting to mark the UN Arabic Language Day adorned Madinah Road, in Jeddah. The mayoralty of Jeddah Governorate, in continuation of the Arabic Calligraphy Year 2020 have launched the painting, in collaboration with Jeddah Eyes" Association, the fifth of its kind, within the accord between the mayoralty and the association. Arabic language drawing falls in line with aiming at the gentrification of the visual scene of the city, set forth within the framework of the societal partnership. Arabic Calligraphy Year 2020 coincided with the UN Arabic Language Day corresponding to Dec. 18, whereas the world celebrates one of the main pillars of the globally cultural diversification, due to being among the most widespread used lingua franca, in the world: the Arabic Language. — SPA
