For the latest updates, follow us on Instagram @arabnews.lifestyle Speaking to WWD, Elie Saab Jr., the CEO of the label founded by his father, said this was due to the rise of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Lebanon. He added that the collection was ready, “but there’s the whole shooting logistic, which is quite complicated.” He added: “We decided to take a small break and wait for the right time to shoot it and to present it to the public.” Over the past week, Lebanon registered a new record for daily COVID-19 cases. More than 78,812 cases were recorded in the past 20 days, which has led doctors to conclude that Lebanon has lost control over the virus. The Lebanese Health Ministry’s Scientific Committee on Combating the Coronavirus Pandemic recommended extending the country’s national lockdown by at least two weeks on Wednesday.
