Saudi leaders condole with Zimbabwe president over loss of his sister, key ministers to COVID-19

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman have sent separate cables of condolence to Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa on the death of his sister as well as Foreign Minister Sibusiso Moyo and Transport due to COVID-19. In their messages, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince expressed their sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the president, families of the deceased, and the people of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe’s government last week held burials for the ministers who died from COVID-19. The Zimbabwean Cabinet has so far lost four ministers to the coronavirus pandemic, three of them last month. Meanwhile, the sister of Zimbabwe"s president also recently died from complications resulting from the disease.
