Riyadh, August 24, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the directives of the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the efforts being exerted by the concerned authorities effectively contributed to decrease the numbers of COVID-19 infections and increase the recovery cases. Such efforts included providing vaccines, setting testing and vaccination centers, along with social awareness of the importance of immunization. These successful steps coincide with the safe return of students to the schools amid adhering to precautionary and preventive measures. It is worth mentioning that 99% of male and female students received the first dose of the vaccine, while the teachers must receive the two doses of the vaccine as condition for attendance at educational facilities. These steps reflect Saudi Arabia's capabilities in overcoming the repercussions of the most serious crisis facing the world. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its vision 2030, has made unprecedented progress in many various fields. Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) announced that that Saudi Arabia ranks first in four sub-indicators, in addition to achieving advanced ranks in six other indicators. This confirms that Saudi Arabia is moving forward in the entrepreneurship field, as it made real progress, shown by GEM indicators during this year. Saudi Arabia's achievement of advanced ranks in this indicator, despite COVID-19 pandemic, confirms its capabilities in confronting any challenges or crises. Saudi Arabia has spared no effort in supporting entrepreneurs and provide them with everything that would achieve the desired goals. -- SPA 09:12 LOCAL TIME 06:12 GMT 0006 www.spa.gov.sa/w1607377
