Algerian Foreign Minister Sabri Boukadoum said that his country is constantly exerting efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis. In an interview on Thursday, Boukadoum stressed that Algeria will not cease supporting all efforts to end the crisis in Libya. He also stressed that his country doesnt export arms to Libya, but rather supports it with aid, noting that an Algerian delegation will arrive in Libya in the coming days. "When we speak of Libyas security, we are also speaking of Algerias security," he said. Algeria has made several attempts to broker a ceasefire between the two sides of conflict in Libya. Back in June, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed that “all Libyan parties” do not oppose his countrys mediation to resolve their conflict. “Algeria does not have expansionist or economic ambitions in Libya,” he said back in June. Furthermore, Tebboune said that neither Libyan National Army (LNA) commander Khalifa Haftar, Government of National Accord (GNA) chief Fayez al-Sarraj, nor Libyan tribes oppose Algiers’ mediation.
