RIYADH — Supervisor-General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), who is also an adviser at the Royal Court, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, met virtually on Tuesday with Philippe Douste-Blazy, the chairman of the board of directors of the United Nations fund Unitlife. During the meeting, Al-Rabeeah reviewed Saudi Arabia’s relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom, represented by KSrelief, for combating acute malnutrition among children and improving medical and health conditions around the world. For his part, Douste-Blazy presented an overview of the United Nations Capital Development Fund, which devotes its attention to chronic malnutrition in children (stunting), praising the distinguished professional level of KSrelief in supporting affected countries and peoples around the world. During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides in the field of humanitarian work and discussed the "UN initiative to combat chronic malnutrition among children through innovation" in poor countries. The meeting was attended by the French ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouy, and others.
