After reviewing relevant documents reports, the attorney general ordered the arrest of the Minister of Finance Ali Sharif Al-Emadi for questioning him over misuse of public funds and abuse of power, according to the report. The attorney general has ordered extensive investigations into crimes alleged in the documents. The report did not provide other details about the investigation, and the nature of the case against Al-Emadi was not immediately clear.
