CAIRO — Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi put forward a proposal to update the Arab media strategy to address the coronavirus pandemic and its repercussions. The proposal included forming a joint Arab action group to work on preparing the strategy under the supervision of the Media and Communication Sector of the Arab League General Secretariat. The strategy will also include executive initiatives to raise awareness of the Arab community about the importance of receiving the vaccine, to refute the false rumors about various types of the coronavirus vaccines. In his speech at the opening session of the 13th session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, Dr. Al-Qasabi noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia submitted a working paper that includes the proposed objectives of the strategy, its main tracks and topics. — SPA
